تیغ بیستوری شماره 15 از نوع یکبار مصرف بوده و با اشعه گاما استریل شده است.در هر بسته از این محصول تعداد 100 عدد تیغ جراحی با بسته بندی آلومینیومی وجود دارد.جنس این تیغ از نوع استیل کربنی بوده و از آن برای ایجاد برش کوتاه و دقیق در جراحی های کوچک و متوسط استفاده می‌شود.تیغ بیستوری شماره 15 برای رفع کامل انسداد عروق قلب و عمل جراحی قلب باز عروق کرونر کاربرد داشته و برای برداشتن ضایعات پوستی مثل غده چربی (لیپوم) نیز کاربرد دارد.تیغ بیستوری 15 به دلیل داشتن نوک تیز، برای ایجاد برش‌ مستقیم و کنترل شده در انواع بافت‌ها مانند پوست، عضلات و بافت‌های نرم بسیار مناسب است.

تیغ بیستوری 15 برای انجام پیوند پوست یا گرافت پوستی قابل استفاده بوده بگونه ای که برای برش و تمیز کردن پوست پیوند شده و نیز برش پوست اطراف منطقه پیوند کاربر دارد.تیغ جراحی شماره 15 یک تیغ کوچک منحنی شکل بوده که دارای طول 15 میلی متر و عرض 1 میلی متر است.این تیغه جراحی از فولاد ضد زنگ ساخته شده و برای جلوگیری از زنگ زدگی با نیکل و نقره روکش می شود.تیغ شماره 15 معمولاً با دسته جراحی شماره 3 استفاده می شود. دسته جراحی یک دسته پلاستیکی یا فلزی است که برای نگه داشتن تیغه کاربرد دارد. دسته دارای یک سوراخ است که تیغ را در خود جای میدهد.تیغ بیستوری سایز 15 یک ابزار تیز و خطرناک بوده و برای برش های دقیق از آن استفاده شود.
