Some types of adhesives are used to attach medical devices. Holding bandages, tapes, and devices that are used as dressings on wounds and damaged parts of our bodies is done with medical adhesives. These products are very effective in clinics, laboratories, hospitals, and pharmacies. Some adhesives are also used for common home treatment applications. We will continue to examine the different types of adhesives, their uses, and their quality.
Angiocate adhesive
Angioket adhesive is a sterile device used for injections and operations related to veins and arteries. If the patient needs multiple injections, using this adhesive eliminates the need to find a vein, re-inject, endure pain, and damage to the skin and veins. This method is more suitable for all types of surgical procedures or emergencies.
Blood collection tape
Blood collection tape or injection tape is a hypoallergenic, sterile and high-quality product whose first layer is in direct contact with the skin. The tape is made of a very thin and sterile non-woven cellulose fabric and is designed to absorb blood immediately. The tape part of this tape is made of a non-woven fabric and polyester with water-repellent properties and prevents blood from draining behind the tape. The blood collection tape is packaged in sterile and disposable packaging.

Suture glue
Glue stitches are a type of thin tape used to repair and restore the skin after a wound or cut. Glue stitches can only be used for superficial wounds and minor cuts and are not effective for acute cases and deep wounds such as severe bleeding or severe skin damage. It is essential to check the amount of oxygen in the blood. If a lack of oxygen in the blood is immediately identified, treatment can be done sooner. A pulse oximeter is actually a device that does this for people.
Wicker glue
Efficient mat adhesive in wide and narrow sizes is usually used for dressing and post-operative care of wounds. Therefore, this type of adhesive is produced with special features. Mat adhesives are produced from polyurethane and synthetic polyester materials that are lint-free and hypoallergenic. This type of adhesive is a thin and flexible layer like fabric, which despite being lint-free, has many small pores. These open pores are made to allow air, moisture, and steam to pass through the adhesive layer, thus preventing skin sensitivity and leaving no scars, and keeping the skin in the wound area dry and clean at all times.
