لام شیشه ای

لام یک قطعه  شیشه ای نازک و مستطیل شکل است که برای بررسی میکروسکوپی نمونه ها مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. به عبارت دیگر لام به عنوان یک پایه برای قرار دادن نمونه زیر میکروسکوپ استفاده می شود و آنها را می توان برچسب زد و مدت ها ذخیره سازی کرد.

لام شیشه ای

یکی دیگر ازلوازم آزمایشگاه که برای ثابت کردن نمونه روی لام مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد لامل است که بسیار نازک تر بوده  و به شکل مربع است.

این ابزارها در بسته های ۵۰ تا ۷۲ تایی موجودند و ابعاد آنها می تواند برای آزمایشگاه های مختلف متفاوت باشد. به عنوان مثال ابعاد یک لام آزمایشگاهی ساده  ۲۵ × ۷۵ میلی ‌متر است ولی برای کاربردهای دیگر در ابعاد ۵۰ × ۷۵ میلی‌ متر، ۲۷ × ۴۶ میلی ‌متر و ابعاد  ۲۸ × ۴۸ میلی ‌متر نیز موجود هستند.

لام شیشه ای از لایه نازک شیشه ساخته می‌ شود و متداول ‌ترین نوع آن است. این لام ها دارای سطحی کاملا صاف و شفاف هستند که باعث می‌ شود دقت و صحت آزمایشات میکروسکوپی افزایش یابد.

علاوه بر لام شیشه ای نوع دیگری از لام میکروسکوپی گوده دار یا مقعر است که برای قراردادن نمونه‌های ضخیم‌ تر و یا قراردادن نمونه‌های مایع در زیر میکروسکوپ مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. این ابزارها در آگلوتیناسیون، فلوکولاسیون و پرسیپیتاسیون استفاده می ‌شود.

و همچنین لام نئوبار نوع دیگری از این وسیله است که یک اسلایس چهار خانه با یک شبکه خط مشخص شده است و برای شمارش گلبول های سفید و قرمز خون مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد.
