One is for blood transfusion and the other is for giving non-blood products such as saline. There are different types of these two types of cores. The clear drip chamber allows fluid to flow one drop at a time, making it easy to observe the flow rate. The long sterile tubing with the V-track controller helps control the flow rate.<\/p>\n<p>The IV set has a connector that can be attached to an access device.
